Blogging tips and tricks for beginners

For every blogger out there we know how hard it is to maintain our blogs and Lives at the same time. Although blogging might be fun and exciting some of us are still facing tough times when it comes to our blogs. Building a popular blog is no joke and when you’re thinking of making your blog into a business then you have treat it like a business they’re moments where it might seem impossible to make your blog popular but that’s what people like Problogger, Michael Dunlop and they faced the same things that you’re currently or have faced as well.

Tips on Best Web Hosting 2019

TRAFFIC

The top issue for not most but all beginner bloggers is to gain a satisfactory amount of traffic. I can’t lie to you guys now and say that I’ve never suffered with traffic because
I have plenty of times. There have been some days that I’ve only seen 7-10 people a day on my site because that’s how blogging goes. Some sites actually do well with traffic and get hundreds to thousands to millions of people on the site every day.

Unless you don’t mind spending a few hundreds to thousands of dollars to advertise your blog you’ll find it really hard to direct serious amounts of traffic to it. Bloggers often have to somehow direct traffic from famous social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest, reddit with creative headlines
and engaging pictures just to capture a percentage of the users back to their site. Just dreaming of a million viewers a month is a hard task when you’re new to the blogging business and it takes a huge amount of effort.

For me I naturally get viewers to my blog using SEO (search engine optimization) which basically means that my titles and posts are written in a way that if someone was to search for something related to technology or the topic then in Google searches my blog is more likely to appear and rank higher. They’re tools that are specifically made to help bloggers appear in Google searches but that requires a lot of tutorials just to get used to using the tool.

AFFILIATE PROGRAMS

This is by far a big issue for millions of bloggers out there because out of the hundreds of thousands of affiliate programs
you must make a decision and choose one. They are affiliate networks which help you earn money with them through a list of programs on their networks but again there is not only affiliate network. To make things a little bit more complicated a lot of people write about top lists and from their experience they compile a list of the best network they have worked with but there are hundreds of thousands that still need to be tested out for that to be true.

The whole idea of an affiliate program is to encourage more sales using you as the sales person and in return you get commissions based on the item you sold. Not only are you helping the store on a large scale but you’re helping yourself too so it’s a win win situation. A big issue about affiliate programs is the commission percentage. The lowest I’ve seen is 3% and don’t get me wrong that’s incredibly low and it upsets me when I see a nice program promoting great products but with low commissions.

The other thing about affiliating is that the payout options might not be available in your country which means that it’s basically impossible to get paid after all the hard work you’ve done.

CONTENT

A big issue when it comes to bloggers is to choose such a narrow topic of a certain interest such as toe nails or deodorant sprays which creates a lot of problems on a whole new level. When Bloggers base a whole blog to a small topic like the ones
mentioned about lots of people will just come in and read about what they need to know and will never return to the blog ever again. Without proper planning on what to write lots of people will end up wondering what your blog is about and that will make them think you’re shady.

The other big issue is when a blogger wants to write about something and discovers later that hundreds of people have already wrote about it and its basically useless even trying to stand out in your article. Just finding out that one thing has been written about doesn’t mean it should be re-written again. Trying to be unique is very difficult when it comes to the internet because everything can somehow be the same.

ADVERTISING

When deciding which ad network you want for your blog they’re millions of hosts that are ready to display ads on your blog for some cash in return. This is another big
issue for bloggers because you usually get paid base on CPC or CPM and the turnouts are usually low. For CPM you’re basically being paid for every 1000 visits to your site where the ad is being displayed and for those who struggle getting traffic to their blog will suffer when it comes to advertising. CPM ( cost per impression) advertising can go as low as $0.14 every 1000 impressions so if your blog doesn’t have serious traffic then don’t even consider advertising.

Every Ad network is different and because of that you’ll spend days trying to find the one that has all the requirements you need. That basically means if you have a food blog and put gadget ads instead then you’ll not benefit. The other option is CPC which means for every person who clicks on the ad on your site you’ll get some few dollars for that and with this you’ll need huge amounts of traffic to make it work. Without huge amounts of traffic advertising won’t do you any good.

RE SHARES

After reading a great post some people won’t even think twice before closing and switching to a different tab. Although a lot of people do it’s really hard to make every person who reads your post to reshare it to their friends. After every post I usually tell
my awesome readers to make sure they subscribe and share my posts as it extremely helps me. This not only drives more traffic to my blog but it actually tells more people that they should look into this great post which they’re likely to do.

The issue with reshares is that not a lot of people are willing to just click that little Google like button or Facebook button because they think it really doesn’t do a lot but that’s not true. Every single share helps and if everyone did it I would’ve been at my hundreds of thousands of views a day by now so make sure to like this post using the buttons bellow and one by the right side bar.

SUBSCRIBERS

Everybody guards their email addresses like a gold mine because they don’t want people who they don’t know to have it.
Unless you don’t present your blog as a professional site people won’t hesitate to leave without subscribing to your site. Many people get around this by offering something for free and I admit who wouldn’t like free stuff. I usually get around 10-40 subscribers each day because of my great content and actually telling them to subscribe so they don’t miss anything. If bloggers don’t offer free things in return for those juicy email addresses then they can expect a minimum of 5 subscriptions a week.

The importance of having subscribers is that as soon as you make an email it can be sent to everyone which can include things like links to products or even adverts which can generate a good amount of income. They’re good articles out there which basically explain about how to get more subscribers on your blog and start earning some kind of income. The one thing every blogger should insure they have is a lot of subscribers.

MAKING MONEY

A lot of bloggers are searching on “How to make money blogging” and this is because they are a lot of ways you can literally make
money blogging. New bloggers think about making money straight away when they start and this will be very hard for them because they have to build their blog to a good level to start making suitable amounts of income. Although you might have some success making money online that means you don’t have to work for that money again. To make money you need new posts that a lot of people have to view and use your affiliate links.

I could sit here all day and tell you tens of ways you can make money online but that doesn’t mean I’ll be making money. I have to really persuade you and tell you everything you need to know about something before you purchasing it which can be a hard task you should look at my articles below to see what I’m talking about. Everybody’s different so that means I need to know your interests before writing an article and telling you to buy what I know you need.

Guest posting

This tactic is mainly used to gain traffic back to the blogger who wrote the article. The problem I’ve had with this is to get a
good host site to accept my guest post which is really frustrating. To top it all off they’re millions of websites you can write posts for and they have special guidelines you have to follow to even be considered. If you write a guest post just make sure to have a high class bio to attract viewers to your blog or else people will just read your work and be out the minute it ends.

The issue with this is if you have a nice article not published anywhere else and you publish it on a bad website then you won’t get a thousands of people back to your site for sure. You’ll just end up wasting a lot of time even to begin with you’re better off publishing that master piece article of yours on your own blog and getting organic traffic from that. You can’t really rely on people nowadays to help you out so you have to do most of the heavy lifting by yourself.

Followers

After closing your article you usually tell people to follow you on all these social media platforms but expect them not to. Unless they owe you money don’t expect
the thousands of people that visit your blog to even visit your social media page and click that follow button unless you’re Tyga or Beyonce. Every blogger wants to be recognized for their hard work including me! So by just clicking that follow button extremely helps promote myself and the content that I write.

At the end of everything I can just expect someone just to follow me I need to have a good reason for me that is that it helps me write better content as it motivates me. If every blogger had 10 million followers people want to join in because everyone is doing it so help this blog reach at least 500,000 followers and subscribers by following, sharing and liking.

CREATIVITY

When I realized Michael Dunlop (million dollar blogger) start income diary I was amazed by how he made his site so uniqu
e from everybody around him to the point whereby newspapers wrote articles about him and promoting him in all different ways.
